Why Citrus Waste Processing is Necessary
During the processing of citrus fruits into concentrated juice, solid peel, seeds, and pulp are generated as waste. These are enriched with a variety of vitamins and other beneficial substances.
It is advisable to process citrus waste because it cannot be stored for long periods and quickly becomes moldy, allowing fungi and microorganisms to spread.
